MACKILLOP Catholic College student Vienna Anderson’s dream came true when she was accepted into the prestigious modelling agency Chadwick.
Since 10-years –old Vienna had been taking part in grooming and deportment classes until she was signed by Chadwick at the age of 14.
In the lead up to being signed the Dunsborough beauty took part in the 2013 Dolly Model Search competition.
Vienna said she didn’t think she stood a chance at becoming the Western Australia finalist in the competition.
“I was wearing braces at the time but I like to push myself and learn new things so thought I would enter anyway,” she said.
Being flown to Sydney for two photo shoots was one of the highlights for Vienna.
“We visited the Dolly office and learnt how the magazine was made and got to see some sights,” Vienna said.
“I have made life long friends with the other finalists as we shared such a unique and special experience together.”
Attending school is still important to Vienna with her favourite subjects being human biology and sport.
“I see modelling as a part time job that I love to do but I know it’s important to finish school and keep my options open,” she said.
The teenager said her mum inspired her to pursue her dream while being the best person she could be.
“I also admire Australia’s Next Top Model 2013 contestant Shannon Richardson,” Vienna said.
“I contacted Shannon before I travelled and since then we have been in contact and she has been a great support to me throughout the Dolly competition and after.”
In five years time Vienna said she hoped to be travelling the world and modelling in New York or Europe.
