Wanderers JFC midfielder, Josh Davis, doesn't talk about doing things on the football field; he just gets on with the job and does it.
Fifteen year old Davis, who is also co-captain of his Year 9-10 team, has had a magnificent first half of the season and has helped his team to be in a good position heading for the business end of season 2015.
Several of his games this year have been outstanding and he must be compiling the umpires votes in the competition’s best and fairest award for his age group.
Davis led his team by example yet again on Saturday and he drove Wanderers into attack time and again.
His Towns opponents just had no answer to his gut running tenacious style, as he racked up possessions at will.
In the end, the Dalyellup College student was the difference between the two teams, as Wanderers just got over the line against a gallant Towns team with the last kick of the day.
With Dustin Martin as his role model, Davis is playing as well as the Richmond midfielder and could one day be playing against him if he continues to star in the Busselton District Junior Football Association.
For his wonderful game on Saturday, Josh Davis is this week's winner of the Busselton-Dunsborough Mail Junior Player of the Week.
