FOR the first time in 38 years, Bunbury MLA John Castrilli has shaved off his mo and it was all for a good cause.
As part of Radiowest's Give Me 5 For Kids fundraising, Mr Castrilli agreed to shave the mo if a certain amount of money was raised.
And he didn't back out on that promise.
At Radiowest headquarters in Bunbury on Tuesday morning, Mr Castrilli was surrounded by friends and family as he prepared the razor and shaving cream.
After a trim and a few encouraging words, it was gone but he seemed to enjoy the hair-free kiss given to him by wife Loretta Castrilli who was there every step of the way.
