The Eaton Boomers were too good for the Busselton Magpies in last weekend’s SWFL league match dominating the entire game.
Eaton were ahead right from the onset leading the first quarter by four points and gained a massive lead by the end of the second quarter.
The Magpies tried hard to catch up in the second half with more goals but Eaton were too strong and managed to stay ahead.
Eaton finished the match beating Busselton 11.11-77 to 8.6-54.
The Eaton reserves were too dominant for Busselton taking a giant lead by the end of the first quarter.
Eaton charged ahead every quarter finishing with a 20.9-129 lead over Busselton’s 7.9-51.
The Busselton colts came back from behind after the first quarter and took control of the match of the Boomers.
By the end of the first half the Magpies were streets ahead with the Boomers only managing one goal in the second quarter.
There was no turning back for the colts who gave a strong performance in the last quarter kicking 12 goals.
The game finished with Busselton ahead 12.8-80 of Eaton 5.13-43.
