A Bridgetown woman charged for stealing a motor vehicle in Busselton failed to appear in court last week.
Kristy Dawne Stott was due to appear in Busselton Magistrates Court on July 29.
In her absence a witness application was granted.
Stott was due in court after police allege she stole a Holden Commodore from a Peel Terrace property in Busselton on January 14.
Busselton police said the vehicle was recovered on January 19 after a search warrant was conducted at an Eedle Street house in Carey Park.
Senior sergeant Steve Principe said when officers checked the woman’s phone they found a video of her doing burn-outs in the stolen car.
He said they also found a stolen watch in the woman’s handbag and she was unable to explain where she got it from.
Police believe the watch was stolen from a Mill Road home in West Busselton in January.
Stott was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and stealing a motor vehicle.
She will appear in court on August 19.
