MOORA resident and passionate West Coast Eagles supporter, Mrs Elsie Bamford, has celebrated her 100th birthday this week and she has only one birthday wish - that the West Coast Eagles win the premiership.
Still living independently on her farm just outside of Moora, the birthday girl celebrated this milestone by receiving a special signed West Coast Eagles guernsey and footy, courtesy of Bankwest.
Mrs Bamford has supported her beloved West Coast Eagles since their inception and said she still watches every game religiously, but if they are losing, she has a lie down.
"I realise I am probably the club's oldest fan and I have to say my favourite player of all time is David Wirrpanda," Mrs Bamford said.
Mrs Bamford has been a valued customer of Bankwest for over 30 years and the first customer waiting at the front door to the bank every Thursday.
Bankwest Moora Sales Consultant Debbie Hueppauff organised the celebrations for Mrs Bamford with whom she has formed a friendship with over the years.
"I knew she was a mad West Coast supporter and so I was thrilled we were able to organise some signed merchandise as a birthday present for her," Ms Hueppauff said.
