Dunsborough residents turned out in droves to support the mum's footy match between the Slayers from Our Lady of the Cape and the Dragons from Dunsborough Primary School.
The annual football game played by the mums is a fundraiser match with all money raised going to the two schools.
The atmosphere at the playing fields was electric with a crowd of 2,500 people to cheer on the mums in the fundraiser extravaganza.
Event organiser Rob Zdraveski said plenty of "friendly" rivalry had developed between the two teams but he couldn't confirm whether any sledging took place on the field.
"I heard there was some but I can't confirm that," he said.
"What's said on the field stays on the field," said one mum.
It was a tough game with plenty of action from the mums but it was the Slayers who proved to be too strong for the Dragons and remained undefeated for the second year running.
The final score was 4.7.31 to the Slayers who defeated the Dragons 1.1.7.
Mr Zdraveski said the organisers were thrilled with all the support they had received from the community and sponsors who helped with the event.
