BUSSELTON resident Robert Gibbons will be riding 400 kilometres this month for charity.
Mr Gibbons is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge which raises money for children with cancer by riding a set distance in the month of October.
As a fly in fly out worker, Mr Gibbons usually rides 200km a month to keep fit.
However, he created a challenge for himself when he posted about his ride at work and said “if I got $500 before October 1st I would double my ride to 400km.”
Mr Gibbons has been humbled by the generosity of his work mates with more than $3000 being raised so far.
He now has 12 days to complete his 400km and would love to his total reach $5000.
