POLICE would like to hear from anyone who witnessed juveniles lighting cardboard boxes on fire last Thursday night.
The incident happened in the carpark of the Mr Sushi Lunch Bar on Queen Street.

SOMETIME during the night of October 3, an offender broke into a store at a shopping centre on Caves Road, Vasse.

BUSSELTON police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Jason Van der Ende has reminded the public to lock their cars, houses and bikes up.
He told the Busselton-Dunsborough Mail far too many people are having property stolen which was unsecured.
He said police are trying to catch those responsible, security of valuable items starts with the owner.

POLICE are investigating a spate of stealing’s from the Busselton Bunnings store.
A number of items were taken in the past week with offenders captured on CCTV camera.
Busselton police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Jason Van der Ende said the images are clear and offenders will be caught.
“We are working with store security, who often patrol the store in casual clothes, to catch those responsible,” he said.
“Anyone found taking items from a store will be prosecuted.”

BUSSELTON police have praised the behaviour of those who attended the South West Oktoberfest.
Just one minor assault was reported to officers from the event.
Across the weekend in Busselton, two drivers were caught drink driving but it is unknown if they were involved in the Oktoberfest event or not.
Senior Sergeant Jason Van der Ende said he was pleased to see patrons exploring alternative transport options if they had chosen to drink.
