A NEW piece of technology has gone on sale in Busselton to beat the school holiday boredom and improve game night.
Last week 20 young contestants aged five to 14 visited Computer West to try out the Sphero, an app-enabled robotic ball that can be controlled by an iPad, iPhone or android device.
The waterproof product can be used to create obstacle courses.
After a lesson from store sales coordinator Sam Kennedy, the students were challenged to design and test their own course.
They then entered the rumble arena where the children had to work out which sphere was theirs and use it to try and knock the others out of the ring.
Ellis Davies was judged the winner and was presented with his own Sphero.
