A bushfire near Two Rocks in Perth's north is under control with authorities downgrading the blaze from a watch and act alert to an advice on Thursday afternoon.
Earlier in the day, the fire was threatening homes and lives in the Perth northern suburb of Two Rocks and in the surrounding areas.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services says there is no longer a threat to homes but that there was still a lot of smoke in the area.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
