THE Busselton man arrested after an alleged crime spree in Vasse on Friday, November 20 has been charged with a number of offences.
Busselton police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Jason Van der Ende said the man allegedly drove around town for more than three hours having multiple car crashes and altercations with the public.
He has been charged with burglary, stealing, reckless driving, failing to stop, criminal damage, threatening to injure, cultivating cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing police.
The alleged crime spree came to an end when the vehicle the man was driving crashed through the garage of a home on Heritage Drive, Vasse.

A WOMAN was taken to Busselton Regional Hospital with a suspected broken leg after she was hit by a car on Monday morning.
The woman was hit at the corner of Prince Street and Stanley Street about 10.45am.
Police are investigating the incident and suspect the woman may have been searching through her handbag while crossing the road.
Witnesses at the scene told the Busselton-Dunsborough Mail the corner was "an accident waiting to happen" and that a crosswalk is "urgently needed" at the spot.

A 14-YEAR-OLD from Busselton has been placed on a 24-hour curfew after he was arrested twice in the past few days.
The boy was arrested on Friday night after he allegedly stole some bicycles from the South West Institute of Technology Busselton campus.
He was placed on a night time curfew and granted bail.
The same boy was arrested by officers on Saturday night going through a caravan park, in breach of his curfew.
The boy was placed in detention for the rest of the weekend and had his curfew increased to 24-hours a day until he faces court.

A 38-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged after a crash on Monday, November 23 left her child with a broken arm.
The woman had picked her three children up from school and was driving home in a Toyota Kluger when she failed to stop at an intersection.
She allegedly drove through the intersection and collided with a tree.
One of her three children sustained a fractured right arm in the crash.
All the occupants of the vehicle were taken to Busselton Regional Hospital.
At the scene and again at the hospital, the woman refused to provide a breath test.
She was charged with dangerous driving occasioning bodily harm and failure to provide a breath test sample.
She will face court at a later date.

POLICE would still like to hear from anyone who witnessed a crash between a car and a bicycle on November 5.
The pair collided at the corner of Peel Terrace and Queen Street about 6.30pm with the female bike rider hitting her head on the road.
Senior Sergeant Van der Ende said a number of people were in the area at the time of the crash and urged anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Busselton Police on 9754 9555.

IN November, Busselton police put a strong focus on random breath tests.
In all, more than 1180 tests were conducted with three drivers returning positive readings.
Senior Sergeant Van der Ende said drivers need to know that police can stop them on any day at any time.

DECEMBER will see Busselton police shining a spotlight on the roadworthiness of vehicles.
Senior Sergeant Van der Ende said there will be increased vehicle movements with the school holidays and it was essentially for the safety of all road users, that vehicles be kept up to scratch.
“Some of the most common issues include broken headlights and indicator lights, bald tyres and cracked windscreens,” he said.
“Now is the perfect time to fix your car before we order you to.”
