CITY of Busselton officers have revisited plans for the Busselton foreshore development after Royalties for Regions failed to confirm if funding was granted.
The city applied for $4.5 million from the Growing the South fund and did not receive confirmation if the application was successful.
Changes were made to the plans for the short stay tourism precinct to accommodate the lack of funding from the program.
In the changes, officers want to delay relocating the Busselton Tennis Club, reduce the number of short stay accommodation sites to three and provide more car parking.
City officers will look for other sources to contribute towards the foreshore redevelopment which includes an application to the federal government.
An application will be submitted for $3 million from the national Stronger Regions Fund and officers will find out in July if the application was successful.
Councillors will vote on the changes to the foreshore redevelopment at a meeting on Wednesday.
