The 13-year wait for Adelaide United to become A-League champions is over after they claimed a convincing 3-1 win over the Western Sydney Wanderers, the latter bowing to their third grand final defeat in four seasons.
The result was set up in a barnstorming first half for the Reds, who went ahead thanks to a fine finish from Bruce Kamau and then extended their lead when a splendid free-kick from Isaias found the top corner.
