THE sun shone on what was a victorious day for the Pink Panthers hockey team last Saturday.
The Pink Panthers, a mix of girls from Cornerstone Christian College, Geographe Primary School, West Busselton Primary School, St Mary MacKillop College and Capel Primary School in years 4-6, versed Geographe Purple in the school-based competition.
Some of these team mates have been playing together for several years and have formed a deep bond.
Led by coach Rohan Toia and assistant Grace Bailey, the team had been focusing on refining their defensive and offensive strategies, which paid off with a 2-0 win against Geographe Purple.
Kiara Hodsdon gained an early goal followed by Lizzie Toia with the second.
The girls played exceptionally well as a team, working together to secure themselves a win.
