One Busselton boatie has had a day to forget after strong waves washed his four wheel drive into the ocean.
Witness Louise de Jager contacted the Mail to say she was down at the Abbey Boat Ramp on Geographe Road about 11am today.
She said she understands waves caused the vehicle to slip into the water as it attempted to take the boat out of the water.
An industrial tow was used to pull the car out of the sea.
