A Greenfields man will stand trial next year over a number of assaults on members of his family, including his 18-month-old baby girl.
The man, who will not be named, has been charged with five counts of aggravated common assault.
One of the most sickening allegations is an attack on his baby daughter.
Police will alleged the man struck the little girl in May this year after he noticed damage to his speakers.
He is alleged to have called her a “little s***head” and grabbed her by the face.
In Mandurah Magistrates Court on Tuesday, counsel for the man applied for his bail conditions to be varied so he could have contact with the alleged victim.
The application was denied by Magistrate Vivien Edwards.
The man will stand trial from May 31.
