THE Blackwood Basin Group held a morning tea for the macroinvertebrate citizen scientist volunteers at Tasty Edibles in Greenbushes last week.
For the past two years the Blackwood Basin Group has been gratefully accepting help from this dedicated group of volunteers, which meet every week at the Greenbushes Community Gardens to collect, process, preserve and identify the insects inhabiting the Greenbushes wetlands as a part of the federally funded Priority Bittern and Waterbird project.
To say thank you the BBG gave out rain jackets with the BBG logo on it at the morning tea.
