PERTH Scorchers’ fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile is heading to Busselton in October, as part of the club’s Regional Roadshow for PlayCricket Week.
The Perth Scorchers Bus will bring Coulter-Nile down to Churchill Park from 2pm to 4pm on October 8, where he will be encouraging fans to register for the upcoming cricket season.
Coulter-Nile said the Regional Roadshow was all about spreading the word to fans that Western Australian cricket was not just about Perth.
“It is about the whole community and rural cricket especially,” he said.
“It means a lot to us to get down there and see young kids getting involved in cricket and enjoying themselves.
“It is just a great way to be active and get some time in the sun and have some time with friends and family – it is just a health lifestyle.”
Along with meeting Coulter-Nile, fans will also get to hang out with Perth Scorchers’ mascot Blaze, and get the chance to hold the BBL|03 trophy.
PlayCricket’s Regional Roadshow will also visit Margaret River Cricket Club, Leschenault Cricket Club and Bunbury’s Grham Bricknell Shell.
