THE 2016 Dunsborough Lions Club held its annual Art Show which featured local artists at the Yallingup Hall over the Queens Birthday long weekend.
The Art Show lets the artists display their work in a professional way to get recognition for their work.
Artist Dale McRobert from Dalyellup was awarded best in show and best past and won over $1000 in prizes.
The best oil painting went to Steve Vigorz, which was sponsored by Stocker Preston who have supported the Dunsborough Lions Art Show since it began 18 years ago.
The best acrylic went to Busselton artist Liv Hardy for her work Zinny’s.
The best water colour went to Kellee Merritt and the best mixed medium was awarded to artist Nettley from Boyanup.
There were 129 artworks by 71 artists on display at the show and event organiser Alvin Sargant said they sold 16 pieces over the weekend.
“A big thank you to the Dunsborough Art Society without their help we would not be able to put on the event,” he said.
