ONE Busselton tradesman has organised a golf day for “tradies doing it tough” in conjunction with the Broadwater Par 3 Golf Course and Beyond Blue.
Tradesman Kasey Williamson will hold the event because it was getting tough for people in the building industry and he had a few personal experiences of his own.
“It is a good time to get a few people together and have a bit of fun,” he said.
“Anyone can come, but because it is very tough in the building industry at the moment we would really like tradies who would not normally do this to come out and see people.”
Mr Williamson hoped that by raising money and awareness about Beyond Blue it would get people talking about their experiences.
The event will be held at the Broadwater Par 3 Golf Course from 10.30am on Friday October 21 and people who would like to register can contact owner Tracey Tas on 9754 2002.
Ms Tas said there would be teams of four who will play in an ambrose tournament, the cost to play is $100 per team or $25 per person which includes a barbeque lunch and the hire of a set of golf clubs for each team.
“It will be good everybody can just sit back, relax and have a game of golf, it is all about having fun,” she said.
“We have a few sponsors and prizes on the day for first, second, last place and a hole in one.”
