THE Bay Garden Club are hosting an Open Garden Day on October 30, in a bid to raise funds for the Motor Neuron Association.
The Open Garden Day, which will be held on the corner of Geographe Bay Road and Gale Street, Busselton from 10am-4pm, was organised by the Club in remembrance of former member Darren Whitby, who was a motor neuron disease sufferer.
Three gardens will be open for viewing by the public, as well as a number of stalls showcasing plants, produce, cakes and more.
Entry on the day is $5, with morning tea (homemade scones with jam and cream) and lunch (homemade soups and crusty bread) available for $5 each.
Visitors can also purchase raffle tickets ($2 each or three for $5) to gain the chance to win some prizes donated by Busselton supporters.
All proceeds made on the day will go towards research into motor neuron disease by the Motor Neuron Association.
