Perth finally got a hint of summer on the weekend and while most soaked up the sun on beaches around town, some had other ideas.
Opting to break out the deck chairs and climb atop the roof of the carpark above Ocean One Bar in Scarborough, one group of men enjoyed the heat from arguably the best view in Perth - on their own makeshift rooftop bar.
Backing their car close to the wall of the roof, they climbed on the bonnet and then the car roof to reach their prime position as the weather reached a top of 28.5 degrees on Saturday and 29.5 degrees on Sunday.
They stayed until sunset before deciding it was time to go home.
A City of Surf spokesperson said "the property in question is private property and as such any matters of trespass or public drinking on that property are a policing matter".
Police said it is hard to determine if it was a trespass offence or a matter of public drinking.
"Complaints need to be filed with Police so they can attend the scene and gather more information," a police spokesperson said.
The maximum penalty for trespassing is 12 months imprisonment and a fine of $12,000, while public drinking can bring a maximum fine of $2000.
Elsewhere, beaches and seaside car parks were full as Perth residents hit the beach to soak it all up on the white sand.
A large rip at Secret Harbour saw 67 swimmers require rescuing on Sunday while it was a quieter day for Surf Life Saving WA on Saturday, when only one rescue was carried out.
This week Perth can expect temperatures to reach the low to mid twenties, mostly sunny with cloud expected on Tuesday.
