THE Busselton Jets Junior Rugby Club have a great year ahead with exciting plans, ventures, visions, club culture, mergers and affiliations. The annual general meeting was held at Stilts on Wednesday, November 9. The executive committee remains almost the same with Chris Carlyle our president again, newly appointed to vice president is Donna Sadler, Von Harrison is back as club secretary and Donna Carlyle also back as club treasurer. The meeting also saw a unanimous vote towards a merger with Dunsborough Dungbeetles, which will give an exciting new outlook with a seniors team for the youngster to look up to and to grow our club into the future.

The Jets have allocated a number of sub-committees and jobs for this coming season, as many hands make for light work. If you can spare any time, we welcome volunteers and new players, we have a number of small jobs that we need assistance with. Rugby pre-season training will commence in March. Busselton senior touch has been underway for a few weeks now, but it's not too late to get involved. Men and woman, of any ability and experience level welcome. Great way to meet new people and get fit at the same time. It’s on Thursdays at 5.30pm at Barnard Park (east side). Let's get touch rugby happening in a big way in the South West.
