Aussie radio duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee have announced they will quit their hit radio show next year to concentrate on TV.
The pair made the announcement in Byron Bay, where they ended their 2016 run after a series of live shows on the east coast.
Mumbrella reported Blake and Lee would return in March to the Hit Network for an eight-month stint on their nightly drivetime show before calling it quits.
They will then start working on a new TV show for the Nine Network.
"In light of new TV arrangements we were actually thinking of finishing up this year, but we are having so much fun so it seemed crazy to stop," Lee was quoted in Mumbrella as saying.
Blake added that the pair had not ruled out a return to radio in the future.
"It's been awesome and our listeners are awesome, so it's nice to head into 2017 with them knowing it will be our last," he said. "We're not saying we'll never return, but this will be our last radio year for some time."

The pair has worked with the Hit Network, owned by Southern Cross Austereo, for 13 years.
The new show for Nine won't be their first foray into TV, their most successful to date being the Logie-Award winning comedy series Hamish and Andy's Gap Year.
They told Fairfax Media earlier this year that their radio show's popularity was down to their own genuine friendship and the lack of planning that goes into each show.
"In terms of a plan for the show, we would write down probably … 50 words each," said Blake.
"Other shows are different," added Lee, "but for us it's a conversation and that works for us."
