Iconic Australian musician Deborah Conway will perform a special concert next Friday December 16 at the Margaret River Cultural Centre, joined by long time artistic collaborator and life partner, Willy Zygier. In town to launch her new album, Everybody’s Begging, Conway brings a full band of some of Australian’s best musicians along for the show, which will also celebrate 25 years since her platinum selling release, String of Pearls.
Known for hits such as It’s Only The Beginning, Release Me and String of Pearls, the ARIA award winning singer songwriter first met Zygier on the String of Pearls album tour, when he joined the band on guitar. The Beginning and The End concert will begin with the latest release, a follow up to the pair’s acclaimed 2013 Stories of Ghosts before heading into the past to reflect on some of Conway’s biggest hits.
Deborah Conway & Willy Zygier: The Beginning and The End is at the Cultural Centre on Friday December 16 from 8pm. Tickets on sale at artsmargaretriver.com or on 9758 7316.
