Over The Fence Comedy Film Festival is the longest running touring comedy film fest in Australia and is launching 2017 in four outdoor screenings venues including Busselton.

This year, the theme for the 19th edition of the festival is ‘Choose’ and the event proudly presents 13 short comedy films from around the world which take on quirky conundrums with an excellent sense of humor.

An Over The Fence spokesman said the festival seeks excellence in curating and presenting comedy films that can change the way we view the world.

“We are committed to encouraging and stimulating comedy film production worldwide and to promote comedy films that celebrate, entertain and inspire,” the spokesman said.

“We are a festival dedicated to championing independent and new filmmakers, creating a stimulating and inspiring environment for filmmakers and audiences.”  The festival will be held at the ArtGeo Cultural Complex in Busselton on January 2. Bookings can be made via the Over the Fence website.
