The ballerinas will perform two parts of live dancing with excerpts from a number of famous ballets which will form an appropriate introduction to the documentary Ella.

The film is a story about the first indigenous dancer to be accepted into the Australian Ballet Company.

Happs Wines owner Roslyn Happ said she wanted to make it possible for the community to share the delight of watching the talented dancers.

Ms Happ said the dancers trained very hard under the direction of dedicated teachers.

“Over some years, I have watched these young girls grow into highly polished dancers,” she said.

Tickets to the event are $18 for adults and $15 for concession, and can be purchased online at happs.com.au/events.

Gates will open from 6pm at Happs Wines.
