Now, Judith Sheindlin is hoping to sell the distribution rights to her old episodes for a cool $US200 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
That's a massive cash injection, even for someone who earns around $60 million a year.
Sheindlin reportedly has a former investment banker pitching to numerous studios and distributors on her behalf.
Besides Judge Judy's massive following around the world, sweetening any potential deal is the fact the courtroom series has never been picked up by a streaming service. This ensures reruns can be difficult to come by.
Sheindlin, who is 74-years-old, has plenty of time to negotiate any potential sale. Her current contract with CBS doesn't expire until 2020.
Judge Judy currently reaches 10 million people in the United States every weekday. The judge and reality television star managed to secure the rights to her back catalogue back in 2015.
