Warm up this winter with a hot night of Latin entertainment and a roaming gourmet feast at Old Broadwater Farm’s annual Piano Box Jazz Bar cocktail event to be held on Saturday, June 3.
Modern day performers with Havana’s Buena Vista Social Club are set to collaborate with Perth’s Adam Hall and The Velvet Playboys for a cracker of an event, which is one of 30 Jazz by the Bay performances over the June long weekend.
Old Broadwater Farm business manager Mr Zeb Packard-Hair said this year’s Piano Box Jazz Bar event promised to be an unforgettable evening of entertainment, dancing and gourmet food.
“Following the success of last year’s inaugural Piano Box Jazz Bar, we decided to make it an annual event,” Mr Packard-Hair said.
“We are thrilled to welcome three gifted young Cuban musicians who have performed with the world-renowned Buena Vista Social Club to play alongside Adam Hall and The Velvet Playboys.
“This extraordinarily talented seven-piece band will perform a fiery fusion of Latin rhythms to hits from Coldplay, The Eagles, Elvis and The Rolling Stones in Old Broadwater Farm’s luxury marquee.”
Halmak Music Director Mr Adam Hall said he was excited to play alongside these incredibly talented young musicians.
“Pablo, Lazaro and Camila are internationally renowned for their ability to deliver high-energy performances featuring Buena Vista style reinventions of pop songs,” he said.
“Piano Box Jazz Bar is guaranteed to keep you dancing all night.”
Guests are sure to work up an appetite as they dance the night away at this high-octane event, so Supper Rd will be on hand to provide gourmet canapes and bigger bites throughout the evening.
A cash bar will also be available.
