The Disabled Surfing Association South West branch held its final event of the summer at Bunker Bay last Saturday.&nbsp; Quite a swell kept volunteers on their toes and gave participants thrilling rides.&nbsp; Photos supplied by Mick Marlin.

Disabled Surfing Association South West organiser Ant Purcell thanked sponsors Busselton Motorfest, Gannaway’s, Blue Ginger, Naturaliste Lighthouse, Dale Alcock, Busselton Water, Busselton Ice, DCB, HIF Health Insurance and Tas’s Bakery.

Forty-seven participants travelled from all over the South West to experience the thrill of surfing.

Sixty-five volunteers helped out including a busload of students from the Bunbury Catholic College and St Mary McKilllop College.

With the whole centre now reopened, a full day of family fun will bring the community together to celebrate the milestone.
