In a first for WA rugby union, two of the most highly regarded teams from Perth will travel to Dunsborough to play for competition points on Saturday, April 8.
The match has been organised as part of celebrations for the Dunsborough Busselton Dungbeetles Rugby Union Club’s 21st anniversary.
At the competition match, Perth-Bayswater will take on the Kalamunda Rugby Union Club with both the A-grade and reserve grade battling it out for points from 1.15pm.
The day will kick off from 10.45pm with other South West clubs the Bunbury City Bulls taking on the Collie Mongrels followed by old rivals the Dunsborough Busselton Dungbeetles taking on the Margaret River Groupers.
The Junior Dungbeetles under 15s side will follow the senior’s clashes with a showcase of talent pitting their skills against a visiting Wanneroo juniors side.
Some of the most talented rugby players from WA will be playing in Dunsborough on the day where there will be food vans present to provide food and refreshments.
After the game entertainment will be provided at the clubrooms with a fully licenced bar providing refreshments.
Everyone are invited to come down and be part of this fantastic day celebrating a huge milestone for a great local club.
The junior Dungbeetles will also be holding registrations throughout the day, all age groups five to 16 are invited to come down and sign up to the family-friendly supportive rugby club.
