The Dunsborough Ducks AFL Masters team will begin their title defense on Friday, April 7 against the Leschenault Crabs after picking up their 15th consecutive flag last season.
The mighty Ducks side did not hold back last year which proved to be a successful season and are looking forward to continuing their dominance throughout 2017.
Club President Phil McCormack has put the call out for new players and would like to invite anyone who would like to play to come down to the club on Fridays at 5.30pm.
Families are welcome to attend while players partake in some light stretching, medium refreshments and heavy duty football drills.
Mr McCormack said it was a fun, relaxed environment and a great way to extend your social circle and meet some new mates.
In a first this season, Mr McCormack said the club was planning a camping adventure at Barrabup Sanctuary on the Blackwood River this weekend and would love for any prospective players and their families to be involved.
There will be canoes, camping, sausages on the barbecue and some light refreshments.
“This is a new tradition for the Ducks and a fantastic way to build up the camaraderie as they move into season proper,” he said.
For further information on Friday night training or the planned camping trip, please get in touch with the club via their Facebook page or website for contact details.
