With Easter nearing, shoppers are being urged to support a fundraising effort to secure the future of the uniquely local quokka.
The Margaret River Chocolate Company has released “Chokka the Quokka”, with $2 from every one sold going to quokka conservation.
Co-founder Martin Black said Easter was their biggest time of the year and while they expect to sell plenty of eggs, they hoped Chokka would be at the top of everyone’s list.
