Busselton resident and McDonald’s restaurant owner John Frankham will don his helmet once again as he clocks up mileage on his bike for charity.
Taking part for the sixth year in a row, Mr Frankham will be cycling 295 kilometres over four days to raise money for seriously ill children and their families as part of the Ronald McDonald House Charities WA Ride for Sick Kids event held on May 3.
Mr Frankham said he was passionate about creating awareness of Ronald McDonald House Charities and the support it provides for seriously ill children and their families.
Taking off from Ronald MacDonald House in Perth, Mr Frankham together with a contingent of other riders will travel to Fremantle and Swan Valley, finishing up in Nedlands.
Since January 1 this year, 3,230 nights of accommodation have already been provided to families at the House.
