WA Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to a $9 million Welshpool building fire in March.
The fire caused extensive damage to the former Bunnings state headquarters, although it is understood the building had been vacant for around a month before the blaze.
Authorities were called to the fire on Pilbara Street in Welshpool about 10.25pm on March 14, and around 60 firefighters were on scene.
Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said Arson Squad detectives believe the man could assist them with their investigation.
"The man is described [as] being aged between 20 and 35 years of age, a tanned complexion, and approximately 180 centimetres tall with a slim build. He was wearing black pants, a light coloured long sleeve shirt, black boots and a black baseball cap with a white motif."
A reward of up to $50,000 is available for information that could lead to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
Anyone who is able to identify the man or who has any information regarding the fire has been asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or make a report online.
