Georgiana Molloy Anglican School head boy and head girl have both been selected for the 2018 Rotary Student Exchange program.
Kristen Sly and Lochlan Curtis both applied for the program several months ago and after an interview and lengthy wait, the pair have both been selected.
They will be heading off on exchange next year, where they will live and study like locals.
The pair don’t know where they are headed but will find out soon.
“I put down Italy as my first preference, so fingers crossed,” Miss Sly said.
“I put Japan as my first preference, however I’m not sure I will get it, so I will have to just wait and see,” Mr Curtis said.
As part of the program they will have to learn the countries language within three months.
“We are nervous but excited, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to grow and experience new things,” Miss Sly said.
The exchange is sponsored by the Busselton Geographe Bay Rotary club.
