Thirteen people are vying for a seat on the City of Busselton council, at this year’s local government election with counting taking place on October 21.
There will be four positions available with three of the candidates currently serving on the council including mayor Grant Henley and councillors Rob Bennett and Terry Best.
Former councillor Jenny Green has nominated again after missing out on regaining her seat in the 2015 election, along with Nerilee Boshammer and Val Kraigg who is running in her fifth attempt.
Other female candidates include Lamp Inc chief executive officer Lorrae Loud, Busselton resident Jenny Taylor, third generation councillor Jo Barrett-Lennard, Dunsborough resident Kailla Erickson and Kelly Hick.
Also running for a seat are newcomers Busselton resident Luke O’Connell and Lyndon Miles.
