Students from Georgiana Molloy Anglican School have taken out the 2017 state title for Tournament of the Minds.
The team, made up of year 7 to 10 students, took out the state championships and are heading off to Adelaide for the nationals in October.
Tournament of Minds is a problem solving program, which sees teams solve demanding, open-ended challenges from one of the following disciplines; science technology, engineering mathematics, social sciences and language literature.
The tournament's aim is to enhance the potential of our youth by developing diverse skills, enterprise, time management, and the discipline to work collaboratively within a challenging and competitive environment.
The GMAS team are incredibly excited to be heading off to nationals.
