Kim Kardashian has broken her silence on the pregnancy rumours floating around two of her sisters, calling one report a "fake story" and alleging another used falsified quotes.
The 36-year-old reality star tweeted in response to reports this week that her younger sisters, Kylie Jenner, 20, and Khloe Kardashian, 33, are both expecting.
The stories were published by a number of celebrity news websites, citing unnamed sources.
Tweeting on Wednesday, Kardashian retweeted a Harper's Bazaar story which reported she did not have a good reaction to Kylie Jenner's pregnancy news.
"This sounds like a very fake story," Kardashian wrote.
Harper's Bazaar, who were re-reporting quotes from an unnamed source published in People, have since amended their story to include the comment.
After her first tweet, Kardashian went full Paul Barry, essentially staging an episode of Media Watch in her Twitter feed.
Referencing a story in The Sun on Monday, which claimed to quote Caitlyn Jenner's representative speaking about her daughter's unexpected pregnancy, Kardashian said Jenner "hasn't spoke[n] to anyone" about her daughter's news.
"The media is super shady for posting fake quotes from Caitlyn when she hasn't spoke[n] to anyone."
She went on to comment more generally about the unconfirmed stories of the past week, notably not denying that either of her sisters are expecting.
"Let me just say this... People who supposedly work with us [are] 'confirming' details they know nothing about! Especially when we haven't even communicated with them."
Kim Kardashian is sitting on an unconfirmed pregnancy story of her own.
TMZ reported earlier this month that she and rapper husband Kanye West, who are already parents to North, 4, and Saint, 21 months, are expecting their third child in 2018.
According to the celebrity news website, the couple are expecting a child via surrogate, an option Kardashian heavily canvassed during episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians earlier this year.
"I always knew surrogacy was an option; now it's my reality," she said after visiting fertility experts on the show. "Whatever is meant to be will be."
The Kardashian sisters notably toned down their public presence after Kim Kardashian was robbed in her Paris hotel room last October.
However, the 10th season of the family's reality show started up last week, and the rumours could not have come at a better time for generating interest.
With all three possibly-pregnant women staying mum on the contents of their wombs, it seems the family is making sure the only way for fans to keep up with the Kardashians is tuning in.
