Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club held the opening of their season on Sunday, with many commodores, a member from Yachting Australia, the City of Busselton mayor Grant Henley, deputy mayor John McCallum, and a host of members and friends in attendance.
The club commodore welcomed everyone and club patron Barry House performed the opening ceremony. Immediate past commodore Steve Flower was made a life member and presented with a silver badge by the donor past commodore Lorraine Fogarty.
The weather was beautiful, with an excellent wind in the afternoon for the Patron’s Annual Cup race and 21 boats were on the water in a mixed fleet of lasers, tasars, a flying ant, a 29er, GP 14’s and catamarans.
