A South West grandmother is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning scratchie from Busselton Boulevard Lottery Centre and Newsagency.
The winning scratchie was a $3 Word Play Scratch ‘n’ Win ticket.
The Bunbury woman in her 60s said she was in disbelief when she uncovered the Top Prize and has already started crossing items off her bucket list, starting with some new dentures.
“$50,000 is life changing,” she said.
“I’ve got my new teeth and I’ll be flying over to visit my family in Melbourne – my first holiday in years.”
The store that sold the ticket is owned by the Callow family.
Ted and Liz Callow have a long history as Lotterywest retailers.
They also own Callows Corner Lottery Centre and recently opened a new store - Vasse Village News and Lottery Centre in March.
Over the last 10 years their stores combined have sold more than $20.2 million worth of Division 1 and Top Prizes to their customers.
The most notable win was from an OZ Lotto ticket which won $15,000,000 in March 2017 – sold from Callows Corner Lottery Centre.
