Experiencing solid growth in recent times, they are looking for an intuitive Major Account Manager to join their team.
Your new role
As a Major Account Manager in this business, you will be responsible for:
- Oversee a high level of service delivery for customer portfolios
- Continual renewal and analysis of customer usage reports
- Conduct continuous development and revision of logistics and supply chain solutions to satisfy customer requirements
- Development of additional business
- Maintain customer records and carrier related activities
- Manage multiple stakeholders’ demands
- Identify any systemic service issues and work with wider carrier management team to provide solutions.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Logistics and Supply Chain industry experience
- Experience in Business Development or Account management
- High level negotiation skills
- Ability to introduce new ideas to enhance processes or customer satisfaction
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- High IT competency (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- High level of Business Acumen
- A focus on leadership
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A good understanding of domestic freight
- A mind for numbers and analytics
