THE newly formed Wellington District Camera Group are a snap-happy bunch and are seeking new members to join them in their photography adventures.
The group meet once a week for photo-related discussions, and to vote on their favourite photo of the week taken by one of their members.
Wellington District Camera Group co-organiser Rachael Williams said the group is open to anyone at any level of photography skills.
“We are hoping to get a few more people interested in the group,” she said.
“The aim of the group is to teach people photography and share information between members.”
“We want to teach people how to take a photo without manipulation.”
The group will be holding their first photographic exhibition at the upcoming Show and Shine event on September 3.
“There will be member’s work available to purchase at the event,” Ms Williams said.
