Buz Nurtureworks needs a helping hand

BUZ Nurtureworks is a Busselton based not-for-profit which helps South West children develop life skills.

Their camps have suffered a reduction in funding and the reality for 2016 is they may not have the income to support these school holiday activities.

The organisation are on a mission to keep BUZ camps alive and affordable for all South West families.

BUZ Nurtureworks camps and programs coordinator Mim Merriman said they had suffered all year with limited funding and as a result their camps were not reaching all the South West families which could benefit.

Ms Merriman said they had set up a Go Fund Me page and were hoping people would pitch in and lend a hand.

“I am asking for $10 from 2000 people, that is all we need to keep camps going into 2017,” she said.

“So many children enjoy our camps and the feedback from families and teachers is fantastic.”
