Platinum-selling Australian hip hop artist Illy has announced The Two Degrees Regional Tour, his most extensive tour of Australia to date, hitting the Dunsborough Hotel on Saturday August 5.
This tour is the first time Illy will bring his ARIA top-spot-hitting album Two Degrees to regional Australia, which includes stops in Mandurah, Bunbury, Geraldton and Esperance, just to name a few.
It follows on from his largest ever capital city tour, featuring sold-out shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane earlier this year.
Illy has a good history of regional touring, hitting the road with Groovin’ The Moo Festival twice, along with a previous regional headline tour in 2014.
He’s developed a strong love of regional Australia and is pleased and excited to be getting back out to these towns and performing again after such a long absence.
“[I’m] really psyched to get back on the road for such a huge run,” Illy said.
“It’s been a couple years since last time, and this will be the biggest I’ve ever done. Let’s get loose.”
Two Degrees is currently swamping hip hop charts, unleashing a new, more epic angle on Illy’s signature sound.
With current single Oh My (featuring Tonight Alive’s Jenna McDougall) the triple-platinum ARIA Award-nominated and APRA Award-winning single Papercuts with Vera Blue, the double-platinum Catch 22 – a collaboration with UK powerhouse Anne-Marie – and live favourite You Say When featuring Marko Penn, Two Degrees is about as strong as a statement gets on record.
Don’t miss one of the country’s favourite hip hop performers when he stops by Dunsborough Hotel on Saturday August 5.
