It has been a phenomenal start to winter with surf conditions in full force over the last two weeks with plenty more swells to come. Autumn already had a great run of conditions around the capes and the surf does not appear to be stopping with swells just getting bigger. During the last long weekend the Indian Ocean generated a super swell in the five-metre range that stormed through most big wave breaks and produced epic waves at The Right.

Some people might ask are the swells getting bigger and more consistent? Possibly because we are about to cop another huge swell today which looks epic, with clean offshore winds and a super swell. Roll on winter if this is what we are going to keep expecting from the Indian ocean.
Forecast: Wednesday sees an extra large 4m swell hit the coast with SE winds. Thursday will have more swell around 2.8m and light SE winds. Friday will have calm variable winds and a 2.3m swell. Saturday brings a 2.8m swell and offshore E winds, while Sunday turns NNE and is smaller around 2.3m.
