A domestic dispute between a mother and daughter on Saturday night left a Busselton Police officer with a nasty bite mark.
After visiting a Busselton property on Saturday, July 15 police arrested a young woman who was intoxicated and aggressive. As they moved her into the car she became increasingly violent, kicking and punching officers and then biting another officer on the arm. The women was charged with two counts of assaulting an officer.
Busselton Police Senior Sergeant Jason Van Der Ende said the behaviour was very disappointing.
Last weekend also saw the police charge a learner driver with drink driving on Saturday after they crashed their car into a bridge. Despite this, the police were happy with the overall behaviour of the community over the school holiday period, saying most people were helpful towards all the extra people that visited the region.
