Stevie Nicks and Chrissie Hynde’s Pretenders are coming to the Hunter Valley in November for the second A Day On The Green concert at Bimbadgen.
Fans will be treated to full, individual sets by Nicks and Pretenders in November.
The following day the show moves to Queensland’s Sirromet Wines at Mt Cotton and on November 18, they’ll star at Rochford Wines in Victoria’s Yarra Valley.
Nicks is part of the legendary Fleetwood Mac and a multi-platinum-selling artist in her own right. She has six top 10 albums, 140 million album sales and eight Grammy nominations to her name and is responsible for classic songs like Landslide, Gold Dust Woman, Rhiannon, Edge Of 17 and Gypsy.
As a member of Fleetwood Mac, Nicks performed 122 sold-out shows in 2014 and 2015. Last year she completed a sold-out solo tour of the US with Pretenders.
“It’s been thrilling to get on stage each night and sing some of my gems from early in my career, along with getting the chance to sing the material from my last two albums, In Your Dreams and 24 Karat Gold – Songs From The Vault,” Nicks said.
Pretenders have given us hits like Brass In Pocket, I’ll Stand By You, Back On The Chain Gang and Don’t Get Me Wrong.
The band has sold in excess of 25 million albums and founder and leader Hynde is widely regarded as one of contemporary music’s greatest songwriters.
The A Day On The Green line-up will also feature Melbourne-based Ali Barter. Her first album, A Suitable Girl, debuted at number 17 on the ARIA charts and featured breakout single Girlie Bits.
