Humpback whales pass through Geographe Bay

The whales are on their annual migration to Antarctica and have started making their way through Geographe Bay as part of their epic journey south.

During the migration Busselton plays host to one of the largest populations of humpback whales in the world, around 34,000 of the mammals pass by along with blue whales, minke whales and southern right whales.
